MAX KING TRAIL RUNNING CAMP

A trail running camp led by Max King in the Pacific Northwest focusing on trail running, trail stewardship, trail maintenance, map reading and navigation skills, nutrition, training and wilderness skills.

One of the most rewarding parts of being an athlete is getting to share learned trail experience with new trail runners. It’s pretty cool to see them grow confidence, expand their boundaries, ask questions, and chow burritos.

Whewww. Coming off the Bend Marathon weekend always feels like I just ran a 100 miler or a 4 day expedition race.

Ahhhh, one of the best races of the year. Horse Butte 10 Miler!
Always a blast to race in jorts, western shirts, and cowboy hats. You know it’s gunna be a good time when you put those together.

Wy’east served up a spectacular weekend of racing with bluebird skies and warm temps. Sure, the snow wasn’t powder but who cares when you’re looking at views like this! 🤷🏻&zwj;♂️
Last ski race of the year(I think) was a fun one.

We would like to acknowledge that we are using and running on Native lands in the areas we hold our camps. We are running on traditional Shasta, Kurok, Yurok, Modoc, Tolowa Dee-ni, Chetco, Tekelma, Klamath, Paiute, Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs, Molalla, Wenatchi, Coast Salish, Nisenan, Washoe, and Yakama lands. The Native peoples were the original stewards of the land we now use and one of our camp goals is to connect our time on these lands to them so that we may gain a better understanding of the land and how to be good stewards of it in the future.
